Urban sports specialists, The Street Team are set to host the biggest celebrity basketball tournament on 18th December at Brentwood Sports Centre, Essex. Not only will stars go back to back with each other on the court, they’ll be coached by the UK’s top ballers. Entry to adiSlam is free but a £5 charitable donation to the London Youth Support Trust will be expected from all the attendees.
Man of the moment Wretch 32 will be providing a special performance alongside other secret guest appearances. Hosted by Kiss FM’s Manny Norte & Dj Swerve RWD Magazine and The Street Team will be joined by teams from the world of music and entertainment, with TOWIE stars Mario Falcone, Sam and Billy Faiers, ROLLDEEP, Natalie Emanuel (Hollyoaks & Misfits) Koder, Maxsta, Kiss FM, SBTV, Last FM, Urban Nerds & DIY magazine already confirmed to take part.
The Street Team includes some of the world’s finest football & basketball freestylers, break-dancers, beat boxers and more so expect to be more than entertained at the adiSlam event. There is also a chance for a member of the audience to win some adidas goodies during the half-time challenges so it’s going to be a night to remember.
Leading up to the adiSlam event, a customized adiSlam van complete with a bass tingling sound system supplied by Pioneer will be scouring the streets of Greater London to find the best street ballers around. The adiSlam van will tour shopping centres, concerts, and ballin’ hot spots finding badass ballers who will then compete in 3 on 3 matches at the adiSlam heats; the winners are then given the chance to take on the celebs in the tournament itself.
The dedicated adiSlam website adiSlam.co.uk will update users on all of the adiSlam van activity plus expect exclusive virals from the likes of TOWIE’s Mario Falcone and more leading up to the epic event.
